This job will require being the QP for 2 locations Roanoke Rapids and Stantonsburg. LIFE, Inc. does provide travel compensation. The Qualified Professional I (QPI) serves as a primary advocate for each assigned consumer, ensuring monitoring functions are completed appropriately. This role involves assisting in abuse/neglect investigations, ensuring guardianship processes are completed for clients over 18, and representing LIFE, Inc. in advocacy groups. The QPI participates in various committee meetings, serves as chairperson of the Interdisciplinary Team, and maintains contact with external agencies. Responsibilities include timely completion of Habilitation Plans and NC Snap Assessments, ensuring consumers receive necessary services, and documenting interim meetings. The role involves entering program reviews, progress notes, and event log entries, developing plans of action, and assuring compliance with ICF/IID regulations, licensure regulations, and LIFE, Inc. policies. Additionally, the QPI completes payroll functions for Habilitation staff, participates in hiring decisions for Habilitation Associates, and shares administrative on-call duties. The QPI issues disciplinary actions, oversees scheduling of habilitation staff to maintain appropriate ratios, and ensures staff receive necessary orientation and training. This position supervises habilitation staff, monitors consumer data weekly for accuracy, ensures monthly Home Inspection Reports are completed, and monitors budgetary costs and expenditures. The QPI also resolves issues with Habilitation Coordinators and Associates and coordinates services with consultants.
