About The Position

The Residential team at Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QP) to lead a team of caregivers as the Residential Group Home Manager. The team works diligently to support residents living in the home with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. The home is located in High Point, NC. As the Residential Manager, you will provide supervision and oversight of services for the residents. You will participate in the provision and development of structured care plans. Hiring, training, development, supervision, and monitoring of direct support staff and individuals served are essential components of this role. The Manager ensures quality services that support individuals' health, safety, and welfare while collaborating with families and external entities. The Manager is also accountable for adhering to policies, managing attendance, and completing required training.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and techniques as well as their practical application in a group home setting.
• Ability to work independently.
• Adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis.
• Proof of Bachelor’s Degree from an approved accredited institution in a Human Services program.
• Meet the qualifications for a NC mental health qualified professional.
• A valid driver's license, a good driving record and current auto insurance.
