About The Position
Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). This is a Full-Time position with a 3p - 11p Schedule - Every Other Weekend Required. Up to $ 29.00 per hour ! (Depending upon which benefit plan selected ). Greenwood Care is an intermediate Residential Care Facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals suffering from chronic psychiatric disorders.
Requirements
- Master’s level degree in human services related major
- Previous experience treating individuals with severe and persistent psychiatric disorders
- Strong crisis management abilities and working knowledge of evidence-based treatments and community resources
- Experience in a Long-Term Care facility

Responsibilities
- Conduct intake interviews
- Collaborate with clinical team in development and implementation of a service/treatment plan
- Monitoring and assessment
- Supervise/train MHPs
- Crisis intervention
- May lead consumers in recreational, educational, and/or treatment activities
- Maintain all consumer documentation
- Manage a caseload of up to 30 cases
- Attend clinical team meetings as required
