About The Position
Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has immediate openings for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). This is a Full-Time position, with a Morning Shift schedule. Up to $29 per hour, Depending on Benefit Plan Selected. If you are an experienced Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor, Lead Clinician, Behavioral Health Supervisor, or Clinical Director, we want to talk to you! Albany Care is accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDHP). We are dedicated to the treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric illnesses. Located in a residential housing setting in beautiful Evanston, Illinois, we treat a variety of conditions, including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, as well as those who are dually diagnosed with a mental illness and substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with at least a Master's degree in social work and 2 years' experience in a mental health setting
- Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree and 2 years' experience in mental health
- RN with at least one year of clinical experience in a mental health setting
- Occupational Therapist with at least one year of experience in a mental health setting
- Master's Degree in related field (e.g., counseling and guidance, social work, vocational counseling, pastoral counseling, family therapy, etc.) + 1,000 hours of supervised direct service in mental health setting - or - one year of clinical experience under the supervision of a QMHP
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Residential Care facility strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake interviews
- Supervise MHPs
- Collaborate with clinical team in development and implementation of a service/treatment plan
- May lead consumers in recreational, educational, and/or treatment activities
- Maintain all consumer documentation
- Manage a caseload of up to 30 cases
- Attend clinical team meetings as required
