About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide comprehensive mental health care to patients in a correctional setting at Logan Correctional Facility in Logan, Illinois. This role involves intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, case management, and providing individual and group therapy. The QMHP will perform all duties as assigned by leadership and in accordance with Centurion policy, IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures. The shift for this position is evenings from 12 PM to 8 PM.

Requirements

Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
Active Independent mental health professional license in Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW.
Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation.
Must maintain active CPR/AED certification.
Must be able to pass a background investigation.
Must be able to obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness.
