About The Position
The Qualified Medication Aide delivers individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team, and communicates compassionately with residents and family members. The role includes participating in ongoing learning and development, protecting resident confidentiality and privacy, and performing other assigned duties. This is a full-time, first-shift position in Newburgh, Indiana, with an hourly pay range of $22.00–$23.00.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification indicating successful completion of a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
