About The Position
Green Oaks of Goshen is hiring a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) for a full-time, first-shift position in Goshen, Indiana. The QMA delivers individualized care based on each resident’s care plan, reports changes in resident health status to the clinical team, and builds compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families. The role also involves ongoing learning, protecting resident confidentiality and privacy, and completing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification demonstrating successful completion of a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
