About The Position

Administer medication to residents as prescribed by their physician. Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medication and report any concerns to the nursing staff. Maintain accurate medication records and documentation. Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

Requirements

  • Must be a Certified Medication Aide in the state of practice
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
