Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) - 3rd shift
About The Position
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) - 3rd shift is responsible for delivering exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan. This role involves reporting changes in resident health status to the clinical team, connecting with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner to create a lasting and positive experience, and engaging in continuous learning and development opportunities. The QMA must also comply with all rules and regulations regarding the confidentiality and privacy of resident information and perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
