About The Position

Miller's Health Systems is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to provide compassionate care to patients. The QMA will be responsible for administering medications, recording related documentation, observing and reporting changes in patients' conditions to the nursing team, and collecting and recording vital information for patient conditions and treatment. This role involves providing basic care and assisting patients with daily activities.

Requirements

• Certified in the State of Indiana
• Passionate about serving others
• Able to work with a dedicated team
• Professional appearance and behavior
• Successful completion of Resident Care Assistant and Medication Assistant Training courses
• Proven ability and experience as a resident care assistant
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to patients and assist them in their daily activities
• Administer medications to patients and record related documentation
• Watch for changes in your patients and quickly report them to the team of nurses that work with you
• Collect and record information vital to the patients’ conditions and treatment
