The QIDP monitors client programs and living conditions for compliance with safety, normalcy, and applicable standards. This includes observations in work, educational, dining, social, leisure, and residential settings, as well as review of goals and data collection, to assess program effectiveness and consistency of training. Programs are modified as needed to support residents in achieving their goals. It contributes to plans of correction following inspections and surveys, monitors their progress, and provides updates to the Unit Director or designee.
