About The Position

This position is responsible for providing oversight of service plans for 853/CRP residential students and coordination between their programs in order to ensure that the plans and programs conform to federal and state regulations as well as Devereux policy. The QIDP serves as the liaison between parents, agencies, and staff in planning and implementing student’s program and informs parents/agencies of student’s needs, progress, etc. The QIDP also maintains knowledge of student’s progress and advises staff on student’s home situation and funding resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in human services field, including but not limited to: Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work is required.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communications.
  • Minimum one years experience working directly with persons with Intellectual Disability, Autism or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of service plans for 853/CRP residential students.
  • Coordinate between student programs to ensure conformity with federal and state regulations and Devereux policy.
  • Serve as the liaison between parents, agencies, and staff in planning and implementing student programs.
  • Inform parents/agencies of student needs and progress.
  • Maintain knowledge of student progress.
  • Advise staff on student's home situation and funding resources.
