About The Position

This position involves providing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering individualized case management and counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The role requires making appropriate referrals, providing education and support, skills training, and potentially outreach to client homes. A key aspect of the role is crisis intervention, counseling, and evaluations, with an emphasis on managing difficult cases and crises within treatment plans. The QMHP will also provide clinical oversight, supervision, consultation, education, and training to other program staff and community agencies. This includes providing licensure supervision for program staff and graduate interns, and potentially clinical review of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs. Documentation in the agency’s electronic medical record is required within expected timelines. The role may involve acting as a liaison and providing consultation to community agencies, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to enhance clinical competency and ensure thorough client care. The ability to multitask, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism under pressure is essential. Maintaining client confidentiality and complying with all agency policies, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations are mandatory.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, behavioral health, or closely related field
  • Be registered with MHACBO or other appropriate licensing board for a QMHP within 30 days of hire
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Successful Tuberculosis Screening
  • Current driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic assessments/evaluations with DSM V diagnoses
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Provide individualized case management and counseling to individuals, couples, family, and groups
  • Make appropriate referrals

  • Provide outreach to client homes
  • Develop and review treatment plans to ensure the delivery of appropriate interventions

  • Provide supervision for licensure for program staff as well as for graduate level interns

  • Act as liaison and provide consultation, education and information to community agencies
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team structure
  • Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with Lifeway’s policies/procedures, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations
