This is a professional counseling position requiring a Master's degree and two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Specific duties include crisis worker functions such as screening for risk of harm, completing crisis assessments, coordinating referrals to acute psychiatric treatment, and conducting mobile crisis calls. The position also involves jail diversion duties, including attending meetings with law enforcement, conducting assessments and evaluations at the jail, making diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and providing mental health counseling. The QMHP must ensure compliance with federal, state, and interagency regulations, model Lifeways' policies and procedures, and uphold the company's mission and values.
