About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the QMA Lead supports the coordination of the medication aide and nursing aide schedule. This role also assists with various clerical duties as requested. The QMA Lead is responsible for delivering exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan, reporting changes in resident health status to the clinical team, and connecting with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner. Continuous learning and development are encouraged through educational seminars and staff meetings. Compliance with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information is essential. Any other duties as assigned will also be part of this role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
