About The Position

The QM Coordinator plans, develops, and implements performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with Quality Management leadership. The role provides education and guidance to multidisciplinary staff across the facility, collects clinical data, and assists with quality activities in compliance with regulations and organizational goals. The coordinator develops strategies to support compliance with New York State Department of Health, Joint Commission, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements, and is accountable for data abstraction, presentation, and achievement of goals.

Requirements

Current New York State RN license.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Problem-solving ability, creativity, and effective communication skills.
Data analytical skills.
BLS or CPR/AED training accepted only from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
Performance Improvement and Quality Management experience.
