Qlik Sense Developer

540 is seeking a Qlik Sense Developer for a short-term contract to enhance acquisition and procurement efficiency within the Department of Defense. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling and warehouse development, with proficiency in Qlik scripting language and creating complex set expressions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data analytics concepts, database design techniques, and SQL skills. Additionally, experience with integrating extensions and third-party tools with Qlik Sense is preferred. A Qlik Sense Certification and excellent problem-solving skills are considered a plus.

• Improve the efficiency of acquisition and procurement within the Department of Defense
• Develop new dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense
• Modify existing dashboards using Qlik Sense
• Utilize Qlik scripting language for data modeling and transformation
• Build QVDs and optimize load speeds for large datasets
• Create complex set expressions
• Understand and implement security rules in Qlik Sense
• Integrate extensions and third-party tools with Qlik Sense (such as NPrinting, VizLib, etc.)
• Analyze and interpret business intelligence data
• Design databases and possess strong SQL skills
• Familiarity with data integration techniques, including ETL processes
• Experience with large enterprise applications and distributed infrastructure
• Optimize application loading datasets with tens of million records
• Collaborate with other BI developers and Business Analysts
• Qlik Sense Certification (nice to have)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders
• Ability to present effectively

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, architecting, and data warehouse development
• 4+ years of experience with Qlik products
• Solid experience in end-to-end development of new dashboards and reports and modification of existing dashboards, utilizing Qlik Sense
• Proficiency in Qlik scripting language for data modeling and transformation
• Extensive experience in building QVDs and optimizing load speeds for large datasets
• Proficiency in creating complex set expressions
• Solid understanding of security rules in Qlik Sense
• Knowledge of integrating extensions and third-party tools such as NPrinting, VizLib, etc. with Qlik Sense
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data analytics concepts
• Proven skills in Business Intelligence analysis
• Knowledge of database design techniques and strong SQL skills
• Familiarity with data integration techniques, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Knowledge of large enterprise applications with a significantly distributed infrastructure
• Extensive experience building QVDs to optimize load speed for large datasets
• Experience optimizing application loading datasets of tens of million records
• Experience integrating extensions and third-party sources such as NPrinting, VizLib, and others with Qlik Sense
• Able to work hand in hand with other BI developers and Business Analysts
