About The Position

Adult Services is looking for a QIDP Supervisor for our Community Residential Homes, which provides housing and care for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As a QIDP Supervisor you will direct the daily operation of assigned residential facility to assure quality services that meet the therapeutic, social, emotional, health , and safety needs of the Individuals in accordance with Devereux Philosophy of Care, established Center Procedures, Standards of Conduct, Best Practices, and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with Center Leadership, external stakeholders, and contracted serivce providers to oversee implementation of program plans and active treatment programs consist of needed interventions and services to support the achievement of the objectives identified in the individual program plan. Consults with Human Resources on employee relations, recruitment, and retention. The schedule for this position is 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday with an on call rotation. New Rate $51,500- $58,710. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community. Devereux is committed to the health and safety of our staff. All Devereux centers have formal infectious-disease and emergency-management plans tailored to specifically address the unique aspects of communicable disease prevention including COVID-19.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services.
  • At least three (3) years experience working directly with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or TBI.
  • Ability to complete eight days of new hire orientation class
  • Possess a valid license.
  • Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing.
  • Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more.
  • Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision.
  • Occasional use of computers and office equipment.
  • Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes.
  • Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.

  • Experience supervising others and proven success in the oversight of operations to ensure quality programming, regulatory compliance, adherence to policy and procedures and training/mentoring staff.
  • Empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model.
