About The Position

The 2nd Shift FPI Technician and Warehouse Driver plays a critical role in ensuring that our projects are sent to our clients with the utmost quality standards, while supporting logistical operations during the second shift. This position is responsible for conducting detailed inspections and tests on products to verify compliance with company and industry specifications, thereby maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves safely operating the company vehicle to transport the finished products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery with excellent communication to the client. Ultimately, this role ensures that both quality control and transportation functions are seamlessly integrated to support overall success.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Las Vegas geography, roadways, routes, and traffic patterns. Comfort with navigating the strip and high traffic areas.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles safely and comply with all transportation regulations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills - you will interact with our clients!

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in quality control or related field (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician).
  • Experience driving commercial or industrial vehicles: Experience with air breaks strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Proficiency with quality management software and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections and quality tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products during the 2nd shift to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality issues by collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Operate company vehicles safely to transport materials, products, and equipment within the facility or to external locations as required during the shift.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines related to quality control procedures and vehicle operation.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the quality control lab and vehicle maintenance area.
  • Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of FPI and transportation tasks.
  • Ensure the product meets customer expectations and is packaged according to instruction.
  • Provide warehouse department with piece count and job detail information to allow efficient shipping of product.
  • Communicate with the sales department by notifying them of the completion of the job, where final approval is requested or communicating corrective action options where deviations occur.
  • Communicate with department managers by communicating failures to complete operational quality control steps.
  • Secure photos for archiving process.
  • Complete inspection and packaging tasks as assigned and outlined by schedule.
  • Carefully read job traveler and follow instructions to ensure product is produced and packaged correctly.
  • Take photos of all finished products using our photo app.
  • Assemble modular frame systems.
