About The Position

Performs routine product sampling, basic lab testing, and documenting quality data under supervision.

• High school diploma, general education diploma (GED), or equivalent experience.

• Experience with web-based applications, preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or mining, preferred
• Experience in Quality Control, preferred.
• Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge - Preferred
• Forklift experience - Preferred
• Computer Software - Preferred
• Warehouse experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs all necessary quality testing for in-process and composites as required by SKU.
• Follows work instructions regarding testing, reporting, non-conforming product, etc.
• Enters data and test results into IFS daily and into excel spreadsheets as needed.
• Communicates regularly with mill operator, shift supervisor, production manager and quality manager on any changes to test results, in-process testing, etc.
• Calibration of all QC lab equipment.
• Conduct product sampling and testing.
• Record and report results accurately.
• Follow safety and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness.
• Assist with data entry and quality documentation.
• Additional duties as assigned
