Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field preferred.
  • Microbiological testing, identification, environmental monitoring, and aseptic technique experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP, documentation practices, and pharmaceutical quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Strong analytical and scientific problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LIMS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Pharmaceutical or regulated-environment experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environments with required PPE.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sterility, bacterial, endotoxin, particulate matter, membrane filtration, TOC, and conductivity testing.
  • Document testing procedures and results according to cGMP requirements.
  • Compare laboratory results with specifications and determine acceptability.
  • Support QA and management with repeat testing and OOS investigations.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and cleanliness.
  • Report equipment and laboratory issues to supervisors.
  • Complete assigned testing according to required timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot problems and improve quality.
  • Follow SOPs, GMP, GLP, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain compliance and data integrity.
