About The Position

This position performs works related Quality and specification compliance inspection of raw material, packaging material and return goods. The position may also require to conduct investigation for non-conforming materials, assist with shelf-life sample handling, and Online QC backup, sometimes off hour, weekend QC backup.

Requirements

Minimum a high school diploma or general education (GED).
Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams to achieve established goals.
Detailed-oriented, quality-oriented, with high sense of responsibility.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English to perform daily functions.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to perform daily job functions.
Employee is required to stand, sit, kneel, and walk when performing essential job functions.
Occasional lifting and/or move up 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials according to QA/QC work instruction.
Inspect incoming bulk materials (sugar, soybean oil, non-GMO soybean oil).
Collect samples using hygiene method when needed according to the receiving manual.
Organize and update Raw Material Manual.
Organize and update receiving records.
Organize and update COA from suppliers.
Work with QA Supervisor to conduct investigation for non-conformance RM/PM.
Inspect return good for quality condition.
Organize and account for shelf-life samples.
Conduct online inspections and verify the control parameters according to procedures and instructions for production, filling and packaging process.
Record result of inspection, including weigh-up, filling temperature, packaging material, product code, container closure, etc.
Perform GMP/hygiene inspection based on GMP and hygiene standards. Correct GMP/hygiene violation and report to production supervisor and/or QA Manager.
Conduct daily and monthly sanitation inspections, including pre-operation inspection and post-operation inspection.
Perform ATP test and environmental swabbing.
Perform environmental air quality.
Record the result of inspection and communicate with Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager.
All jobs shall be conducted timely according to QA/QC work instruction.
Observe and record nonconforming products / production and promptly communicate with production supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager or designee for immediate action.
Assist Quality Assurance Manager with any tasks related to quality compliance.
Perform other special assignment from the management.
