About The Position
The QC Inspector will be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections of machined components, assemblies, and finished products. This role requires working experience with high-precision measurements and manual inspection techniques using tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators. The inspector will also interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME/ANSI standards, and document defects by creating Non-conformance reports (NCRs) and Inspection Reports.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Manual inspections to identify surface defects using micrometres, callipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Interpret Blueprints, GD&T experience per ASME/ANSI standards.
- Documenting defects and creating Non-Conforming Material Reports
- 2 years’ experience in a Quality Control environment.
- Experience with machined components in all phases of inspection, including receiving
- Proven experience with manual inspection techniques and tools.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with engine parts is a plus
