About The Position

The QC Plating Inspector I is responsible for inspecting plated products to verify conformance with internal quality standards and customer requirements. This role requires a commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology, performance, and innovation within the aerospace and defense industries. Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to retain information.

  • Requires minimal supervision to perform everyday tasks.

  • Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for manipulating tools and performing precise measurements with a Microscope.
  • Specific vision ability to have natural or corrected near distance acuity in at least one eye. Capable of passing the Jaeger Number 2 test and a color vision test.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperative effort.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area.
  • Understand and apply appropriate quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately and efficiently use applicable measuring tools such as, but not limited to plug gages, ring gages, and gage pins.
  • Initiate Nonconformance Reports as required.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Lead.
  • Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work-related rules and regulations.
  • Read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
  • Good computer skills.
