The Company: Pacific Aerospace & Electronics (PacAero) is seeking a QC Plating Inspector I to join our team! PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface. The Position: Job Summary The QC Plating Inspector I is responsible for inspecting plated products to verify conformance with internal quality standards and customer requirements. Schedule : Mon-Fri, 6am to 2:30pm

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is a requirement for safety.
  • Must be flexible to work any of the following shifts: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm and Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11pm.
  • Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for manipulating tools and performing precise measurements with a Microscope.
  • Specific vision ability to have natural or corrected near distance acuity in at least one eye.
  • Capable of passing the Jaeger Number 2 test and a color vision test.
  • Due to ITAR Requirements, all PacAero employees must be classified as US Persons and are required to show proof upon hire.

  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately and efficiently use applicable measuring tools such as, but not limited to plug gages, ring gages, and gage pins
  • Initiate Nonconformance Reports as required.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Lead.
  • Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures.
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work-related rules and regulations.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperative effort
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area
  • Understand and apply appropriate quality improvement processes
