About The Position

Responsible for ensuring that quality control processes and procedures meet all Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations. The QC Manager will monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. This role involves developing and implementing QC policies to the jobsite, ensuring all Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced, and maintaining Nicholson's quality standards. The QC Manager will perform overall quality control of the work, report regularly to the Project Manager, and cooperate and communicate effectively with project participants to provide assistance and technical support.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum of 3 years of QC Experience
Geotechnical preferred
Basic knowledge of bidding and job costing procedures
Knowledgeable in structural and geotechnical designs related to our techniques
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook relative to reporting site construction and engineering activities
Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Ensures that all Nicholson quality standards are met.
Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly to PM.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
