About The Position

We are seeking dynamic and results driven QC Lab Technician to join our Quality Control Riverside team. Ensure all Sika Safety, EHS, and ESHQ policies are followed; wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and immediately report unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor. Test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with Sika QC specifications and report results in a timely manner to all levels of plant management. Enter QC data, file QC records, and collect Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for incoming raw materials. Maintain formula integrity and create lab batches as required by Research and Development and plant management. Track lab equipment calibration and maintain appropriate inventory of lab supplies and chemicals. Work as an active QC team member within the Production team, demonstrating ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Assist with sample shipments and coordinate with supervisor as needed. Support special projects and corporate initiatives related to safety, efficiency, and quality improvements. Perform all other duties as specified by Plant Manager and QC management in accordance with business requirements. Demonstrate commitment to learning plant processes and controls as they pertain to overall quality.

Requirements

Associate degree or HS diploma with 1-3 years’ experience in overall QC testing and methodology in manufacturing environment.
Good math and computer skills required, competent with Microsoft Word and Excel software.
Ability to problem solve required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with little supervision
Able to lift 50 pounds
Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.

Familiarity with SAP is a plus
