QC Lab Technician I
About The Position
In the position of QC Lab Technician I, you will work with management to keep the lab running proficiently. Follow process guidelines and expedite quality concerns to upper management. Oversee lab technicians to ensure maximum productivity, training, coaching, and delegating of assignments. Manage the disposal of samples, uphold health and safety protocols. Complete analysis of finished products from current co-packing facilities. Conduct product testing which includes visual assessment, flavor & tasting, and physical measuring of the following attributes: Brix, acid, pH, color & CO2. Accurately record test results onto excel spreadsheets.
Requirements
- Able to operate basic lab equipment including refractometer, pH meter, digital burette, carboQC, etc.
- Computer operating skills and Microsoft Office Suite experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Quality Control, Quality Assurance or related field of study
- Between 3-5 years of experience in lab environment
- Between 3-5 years of experience in a beverage manufacturing laboratory preferred
- Basic math and calculator skills preferred.
