About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a QC Lab Technician to join our Fremont, CA facility. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, result-oriented, excellent team player, able to adapt to changing needs of the organization, hands-on experience working with analytical equipment and maintenance. Additionally, the individual will have strong communication skills, and the interpersonal skills to work within a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science, ideally in chemistry or related physical/biological sciences.
  • Must have the ability and skill to perform the detailed job requirements noted above competently, safely, and proficiently.
  • Hands-on experience working with analytical equipment is preferred.
  • Self-starting motivated person who possesses good interpersonal skills and who can effectively interact with cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency with the use of Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be a team player with integrity and concern for the quality of company products, services and staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely routine analytical support using LPC, titration, pH meters, conductivity meters, Specific Gravity, Zetasizer and other analytical equipment for determination of removal rates on wafer substrates for the semiconductor applications.
  • Ability to follow work instructions for methods already in place.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment according to lab specific procedures.
  • Develop/maintain SOPs, work instructions, control charts and certifications of testing equipment.
  • Track analytical job progress on control charts and manage sample queue in the laboratory.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Accurately document batch numbers and results.
  • Provide support to other scientists as needed.
  • Tests and analyze R&D samples, manufactured materials, and in-process samples when needed and in a timely manner.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong independent operation skills and ability to complete lab work safely.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient at several analytical techniques.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
