This specific role involves planning and directing activities related to quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. The QC Inspector will test and inspect products at various stages of production, compile statistical data to ensure quality and reliability, and provide final inspection support for quality control, shipping, and receiving. The position requires interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing precision tools for testing and measurement, and recommending modifications to quality standards. This role may require work outside of regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Basic Computer Proficiency to include fundamental tasks such as email, word processing software, creating and maintaining spreadsheets in MS Excel and navigating Operating systems.
• At least 1-year relevant aviation work experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection required on aviation related equipment (airframe, powerplant, and or avionic)
• Certify visual acuity to NAS-410
• Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in an aviation related field preferred
• Airframe and Powerplant FAA certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide quality control final inspection support, and shipping / receiving inspection support.
• Accurately interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, company specifications, sampling procedures, designs, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Utilize precision tools and equipment with accuracy for testing and measurement of products.
• Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
