Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as a Quality Inspector, QC Technician, or QA Inspector
Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection techniques
Experience with precision measuring tools and CMM operation
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems

Nice To Haves

Associate degree
Familiarity with AS9102 FAIRs and aerospace quality standards
5–10 years of aerospace or manufacturing inspection experience
Experience as a DQR (Designated Quality Representative)
Background in machine shop environments
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional and visual inspections on castings, machined metal, and plastic components
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 2D/3D design documentation
Conduct first article (FAIR), first piece, and in-process inspections
Use CMM equipment and precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, fixtures)
Complete 100% inspection reports and nonconformance documentation
Program and operate CMMs for complex and repeat inspections
Analyze inspection data and ensure compliance with AS9102 and aerospace standards
Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records
Collaborate with engineering to develop inspection methods and strategies
Ensure all products meet customer and internal quality requirements
