The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Meet the team: Performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation. May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. Where you come in: You will perform inspections, check testing and sampling procedures for incoming components, materials, subassemblies and products to ensure conformance to specified requirements in accordance with material specification, drawing and Quality Assurance standards. You will prepare, record, and update receiving inspection report forms and ensure all paperwork contains accurate and legible information. You will perform transactions related to RI Materials in a defined system. You will work closely with Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers and other functions on any material, equipment or test-related issues that arise. You will assist in carrying out TMVs and troubleshooting test methods You will monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure there are no issues and equipment is safe to use. You will adhere to all GMP, safety guidelines and company standards at all times. You will assume and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5-8 years’ experience within the medical device industry
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use and set up of inspection Equipment and tools (Smartscope, Keyence, etc.)
  • Proficient with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and can read mechanical drawings
  • Ability to follow written procedures and take direction from the supervisor and/or manager in execution of QC inspection assignments.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with statistical analysis (e.g. Minitab) and Microsoft Office Products is desirable

Responsibilities
