About The Position

The Inspector will be responsible for the inspection of printed circuit board assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 2-3. Inspection will include solder characteristics and components for SMT and PTH assemblies. The Inspector is responsible for performing inspection which includes presence/absence of components, part marking, and component orientation of critical components. Inspect products in a timely manner while following all required procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, or relevant studies and/or training supporting this position.
• 2+ years' experience inspecting printed circuit boards.
• Know how to interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and ECOs.
• Familiar with inspection aids and tools in performing inspection and assembly functions.
• Requires the use of magnifying equipment and other tools used in the inspection of printed circuit boards.
• Requires operating a computer.
• Requires frequent physical lifting of printed circuit boards up to 10 lbs.
• Requires constant viewing of PCBs and components.

Nice To Haves

• IPC Certification is a plus.
