About The Position

Turbo Drill Industries Inc. is hiring a full-time QC Inspector for the night shift in Conroe, Texas. The role inspects parts, assemblies, and subassemblies against drawings and prints; verifies that manufactured units meet quality procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements; and completes and distributes quality records. The inspector also performs specialized testing and uses basic hand tools to repair minor thread imperfections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in QA/QC.
• Good written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with co-workers, managers, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment around large and noisy equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Level 2 NDT certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to drawings and prints.
• Initiate non-conformance reports for parts and assemblies that do not meet drawing and print specifications.
• Ensure manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.
• Initiate corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive.
• Complete, inspect, and distribute quality records and documents.
• Perform specialized testing as required.
• Use basic hand tools to repair minor imperfections to threads.
• Verify tests as required on components and completed assemblies.
