About The Position

Performs standardized quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, and components to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. Records inspection data and compares it to existing standards. Clearly communicates and documents non-conformances. Resolves routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels. Performs housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized. Understands and participates in continuous improvement activities. Must be able and willing to float to areas of greatest business needs and take on new activities or special assignments when given.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1 - 2 years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Applies basic inspection skills related to inspection procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment.
• Able to perform basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• PC Skills in order to navigate production reporting (SAP).
• Ability to follow standard work as trained.

Nice To Haves

• Previous inspection training and /or experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement projects preferred.
• Familiar with using the appropriate inspection tooling (i.e., micrometers, calipers, thread gages) to accurately measure part features preferred.
• Engineering drawing (blueprint) reading skills preferred.
