About The Position
We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all manufactured pipe products meet strict quality and safety standards. This role is essential to maintaining compliance and delivering reliable products in a high-volume industrial setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial quality control, preferably in pipe or metal fabrication
- Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
- Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Steel/industrial inspection experience
- Knowledge of SAP
Responsibilities
- Inspect pipe and metal components for defects, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Conduct visual and physical inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Review blueprints and technical drawings to verify product conformity
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality checks
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and correct quality issues
- Perform pressure tests, ultrasonic tests, and other non-destructive testing methods
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and report recurring issues
