About The Position

The QC Inspector I is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of product to verify conformance with internal quality standards and customer requirements. The schedule for this position is Mon-Fri, 6am to 2:30pm.

  • Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for manipulating tools and performing precise measurements with a Microscope.
  • Specific vision ability to have natural or corrected near distance acuity in at least one eye. Capable of passing the Jaeger Number 2 test and a color vision test.
  • Due to ITAR Requirements, all PacAero employees must be classified as US Persons and are required to show proof upon hire. U.S. Person means a person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with all employees.

  • Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to your lead or supervisor.
  • Comprehend and follow all parts handling requirements.
  • Demonstrate a basic ability to read and comprehend drawings and applicable inspection documentation.
  • Perform the following inspection tests for First Article, In Process and / or Final Inspection.
  • Initiate Nonconformance Reports as required.
  • Perform product identification and traceability activities as required (Material and Process certification retrieval).
  • Review shipping paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
  • Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work related rules and regulations.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperative effort
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area
  • Understand and apply appropriate quality improvement processes
