About The Position
The QC Conformance Operator ensures all of the non-conforming product is recorded within the SAP system, stock levels are correct and updated. Also, suppliers are contacted of the product defect.
Requirements
- Experience in quality control
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Has previously worked within the quality department
- SAP trained
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of quality standards
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

- Quality qualification
- Experience using measurement equipment
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- Previous experience with torque tooling
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
Responsibilities
- Inspect all non-conforming products, decide if this is a supplier defect or scrap part
- Process the non-conforming product on the SAP system
- Read and interpret drawings, to ensure part conforms to drawing specifications
- Create and maintain a non-conforming log, create weekly reports to issue to all relevant stakeholders
- Support defect resolution and root cause analysis
- Good supplier communications
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures
- Have the ability to repair non-conforming product with supplier support to put back into stock and save the business money
- Ensure non-conforming product is returned back to the correct supplier
- Maintain safe and organised inspection areas
- Other duties as assigned
