About The Position

Reporting to the QA Manager, the QC Chemist provides technical support regarding product chemistry, adherence to quality specifications, and compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental rules and regulations. The position supports daily production at the Sharonville Plant and works with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, Production Teams, and EHS to ensure the quality and safety of products produced and distributed from the plant. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a scheduled start and end time of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

One to three years of wet chemistry testing experience.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and data analysis, and PC skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities, specifically in technical matters.
Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and across multiple locations.
Ability to take a leadership role in Quality Assurance matters.
Ability to excel in a team environment.
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science field.

Responsibilities

Employ safe work habits and comply with applicable safety requirements.
Provide daily production support, including testing, adjusting, and disposition of raw materials, products, and packaging.
Work closely with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, Production Teams, and EHS to support the overall quality and safety of products produced and distributed from the Sharonville Plant.
Provide technical support for waste minimization, environmental compliance, and timely disposition of returns, discrepant product, and materials.
Use SPC methods in data collection, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action effectiveness, and cost-saving or cost-avoidance analysis.
Perform other responsibilities delegated by the Quality Assurance Manager.
