About The Position

The QC Chemist provides technical support regarding product chemistry, adherence to quality specifications, and compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements. Reporting to the QA Manager, the position supports daily production and works with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, Production Teams, and EHS to maintain the quality and safety of products produced and distributed from the Sharonville Plant. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a scheduled start and end time of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

One to three years of wet chemistry testing experience.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, data analysis, and PC skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in technical matters.
Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and across multiple locations.
Ability to take a leadership role in Quality Assurance matters.
Ability to excel in a team environment.
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science field.

Responsibilities

Employ safe work habits and comply with applicable safety requirements.
Provide daily production support, including testing, adjusting, and dispositioning raw materials, products, and packaging.
Work with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, Production Teams, and EHS to ensure the overall quality and safety of products produced and distributed from the Sharonville Plant.
Provide technical support for waste minimization, environmental compliance, and timely disposition of returns, discrepant product, and materials.
Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods for data collection, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action effectiveness, and cost-saving or cost-avoidance analysis.
Carry out other responsibilities delegated by the Quality Assurance Manager.
