QC Biochemist Group Leader (nights)
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services. The QC Biochemist Group Leader will perform wet chemistry testing, including HPLC, UV-Vis, and CE. This role involves sample receipt, glassware washing, and documenting test results using ALCOA principles in electronic notebooks. The position supports various QC labs and requires coaching, training, and developing team members. Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, daily monitoring to meet turnaround times (TAT), preparing and reviewing job plans, conducting performance reviews, interviewing applicants, maintaining training records, and succession planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.), or other related degree concentration, with a minimum of 4 years of experience
- Leadership experience is a must.
- Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity
- Proactive, positive, solution-oriented leadership style with the ability to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous projects with varying deadlines

- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
