QC Biochemist Group Leader (nights)
About The Position
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services. This role will support various QC labs where work is needed. The position involves performing wet chemistry testing, including HPLC, UV-Vis, and CE. Responsibilities include sample receipt, glassware washing, and documenting test results in electronic notebooks using ALCOA principles. The Group Leader will also coach, train, and develop team members, coordinate workflow, and monitor daily operations to meet turnaround times (TAT). Additional duties include preparing and reviewing job plans, conducting performance reviews, interviewing applicants, maintaining training records, and succession planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.), or other related degree concentration, with a minimum of 4 years of experience
- At least 2 years of GMP industry leadership experience is required.
- Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity
- Proactive, positive, solution-oriented leadership style with the ability to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous projects with varying deadlines

- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

- Proficiency in IT-related skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
