Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a QC Associate Scientist to work with our Residue team in Columbia, MO. Requirements

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, environmental studies, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas.
In rare cases, comparable demonstrated competence and experience in the relevant area may be used to substitute in whole or in part for the Bachelor’s degree.
Master's degree in a relevant field may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree and experience.
A minimum of two years of experience in a directly relevant or demonstrated comparable competency and skill attainment is required.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

Review data, reports, and other documents for internal accuracy and consistency with protocols, methods, and SOPs.
Prepares, issues, and tracks reports of observations noted during review.
Reviews and evaluates addressed deficiencies for clarity, completeness, and correctness. Works with staff to correct any noted deficiencies/inconsistencies.
Assists with development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control systems and procedures.
Adheres to schedule according to Eurofins Agroscience’s or contracting organization’s timetable and establishes daily or weekly routines necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
May assist in preparation of data and final reports for completed projects or studies.
May cross-train into laboratory functions and perform experiments.
Performs other related duties as required and directed.
