About The Position

A well-established biotech company is seeking an entry-level QC Analyst to support its Quality Control department. The role provides basic laboratory assistance and involves performing chemical or biological analyses on products, in-process materials, or stability samples. It is a 12-month temporary contract with potential for permanent hire and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The stated pay range is $23.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Ability to organize and maintain data or information.
Ability to learn through observation and hands-on experience.

Nice To Haves

BS, BA, or AAS in Life Sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain laboratory supplies.
Gather samples for testing and dispose of samples.
Perform weekly and monthly laboratory cleanings.
Complete laboratory documentation and review logbook data.
Enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System.
Compile data for laboratory investigations.
Participate in required training activities.
Collect and prepare samples, aliquots, and reagents for testing using aseptic technique and good material-handling practices as required.
Conduct testing on in-process, product, stability, and/or research samples.
Calibrate instruments and devices, or verify their calibration, before use.
Comply with pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
Interact with outside customers or functional peer groups.
