About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support testing efforts for a suite of newly implemented packaged solutions supporting international store openings. This role will own designated areas of testing across multiple technologies and systems, with a strong emphasis on manual functional and integration testing. The ideal candidate has hands on experience developing and executing test cases, documenting results, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with development and technical teams to drive issues through resolution. Experience testing POS systems, integrated technology environments, or other interconnected retail platforms is highly preferred. This role is located at a client site in Atlanta, GA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Hands on experience with software quality assurance and manual testing in complex technology environments.
  • Strong experience building, managing, and executing test cases.
  • Experience documenting test results and managing defects through remediation and retesting.
  • Understanding of functional and integration testing, including the challenges associated with testing interconnected systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with development and technical teams.
  • Proactive, self directed approach with the ability to identify next steps and help drive testing activities forward.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or knowledge of POS systems, retail technology, or similar integrated environments strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to test automation methodologies, frameworks, or tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned areas of testing across multiple applications, technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive test cases based on business and functional requirements.
  • Execute primarily manual functional, integration, and end to end testing activities.
  • Accurately document test execution, results, defects, and supporting evidence.
  • Identify, log, track, and retest defects through resolution.
  • Partner closely with development and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and support timely remediation.
  • Validate system integrations and data flows across interconnected platforms, including POS related technologies.
  • Proactively identify testing needs, dependencies, risks, and opportunities to keep testing activities moving forward.
  • Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support test automation efforts as appropriate while maintaining a primary focus on manual testing.
