QA Tester W Dynamics 365 & Azure Devops - Seattle/WA - Hybrid
About The Position
We are seeking a QA Tester with experience in Dynamics 365 and Azure DevOps for a hybrid role in Seattle, WA. The contractor will be responsible for manual testing, including the creation and execution of test cases based on project requirements and PBI's, creating bugs, and reporting testing status weekly. The role involves testing highly integrated applications built in Dynamics 365/Power Apps and requires proficiency in Azure DevOps for defect and test case management. The tester will also perform root-cause analysis on complex functionality and communicate effectively with BAs, Developers, and Project Management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Tester
- 3+ years of experience with the Dynamics 365 platform
- 3+ years of experience working within an Agile/Scrum project with associated ceremonies
- 3+ years of experience in test case creation, execution, and bug reporting in Azure DevOps
- Ability to create, maintain, and execute test cases based on project requirements
- Deep understanding of both the SDLC and quality assurance life cycles
- Deep understanding of defect management and test case management
- Ability to effectively communicate with core disciplines of the project – Business Analysts, Developers, Project Management
- Proficient at decomposing complex requirements and PBI’s into well-structured, reusable test cases within Azure DevOps
- Experience in testing highly integrated applications built in Dynamics 365/Power Apps
- Proficient in working within Azure DevOps
- Analytical problem solving – able to perform root-cause analysis on complex functionality

Responsibilities
- Creation of manual test cases based on project requirements and PBI’s
- Execution of manual test cases based on project requirements and PBI’s
- Creation of bugs associated to development efforts
- Reporting of testing status to manager on a weekly basis
- Deliver a weekly report containing: Test Cases created with associated PBI’s/Requirements, Bugs created with associated PBI’s/Requirements, Current project impediments, Projected work for the upcoming week
- Ingest current project requirements, create applicable manual test cases, perform execution of test cases, and create bugs based on test outcomes
- Perform manual testing on Dynamics applications with complex functionality involving both property assessments and collected revenues
