The primary duties of this position are to inspect, test, clean and label Industrial PLC Center Surplus items at point of sale. This role involves verifying part numbers, performing power and diagnostic testing, and supporting quality methods and procedures to ensure the quality of the final product. The technician will also be responsible for processing pre-evaluation units to a ready-to-sell condition, handling and labeling units properly, and capturing cost estimates for repairs. Effective time management, prioritization of work, and proper use of IT systems are essential. This is an hourly position with performance requirements tracked on a Technician Level Program, based on output and a minimum dollars per hour produced requirement. Periodic aptitude testing, minimum items produced per day, and maintaining warranty percentage per ISO requirements are also part of the performance expectations.
