About The Position

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Analyst with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing to support complex, mission-critical enterprise applications. The role involves testing across Salesforce, Java-based applications, Mobile/PWA applications, APIs, web services, backend databases, and integrated enterprise systems. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, API and web service testing, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), defect lifecycle management, test planning, test strategy, and test estimation.

Requirements

Five (5) or more years of Quality Assurance experience testing large, complex enterprise applications, with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, testing processes, defect lifecycle management, test planning, test strategy, test estimation, and requirements traceability.
Hands-on experience developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and Java, or comparable automation frameworks.
Experience with REST API testing, SOAP Web Services, Postman, JSON/XML validation, and SQL-based backend data validation.
Experience interpreting business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and technical documentation and converting them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, requirements walkthroughs, release planning, and defect triage.
Experience using Jira for defect tracking and Agile project management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across multiple enterprise applications and integrated systems.
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and automated test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
Review business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, technical documentation, and design documents to identify test coverage and potential gaps.
Execute functional, regression, integration, system integration, API, backend, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and maintain automated tests using approved automation frameworks and continuously improve automation coverage where appropriate.
Validate REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, interfaces, and integrations between internal and external systems, including JSON/XML response validation.
Perform backend database validation using SQL to verify application data, business rules, interfaces, and processing results.
Participate in requirements walkthroughs, sprint planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, release planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
Estimate QA effort and provide input into project plans, sprint commitments, release schedules, and testing timelines.
Identify, document, prioritize, track, and manage defects through resolution, participate in defect triage, and verify software fixes.
Maintain traceability between business requirements, test cases, test execution, and defects through the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Document test execution results, testing status, risks, defects, and quality issues and communicate them clearly to project leadership and stakeholders.
Support production implementations through release validation and post-production verification.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, project managers, vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve quality issues and ensure requirements are correctly implemented.
Contribute to improvements in QA standards, automation frameworks, testing processes, and quality best practices, and mentor junior testers when appropriate.
