About The Position

The QA Technician position at JBS USA's Pork division in Marshalltown is a full-time, non-exempt hourly role on the 2nd shift. The primary responsibility is to inspect designated areas for cleanliness and sanitation to ensure efficient and effective daily operations. This role also involves performing regular audits of products to ensure quality and cleanliness, monitoring and recording the condition of equipment, boxes, facilities, and temperatures of rooms, products, and trailers. The QA Technician will also complete necessary paperwork, verify the accuracy of scales, equipment, and labels, and observe hourly employees to ensure proper procedures are followed. Attendance at scheduled meetings is also required, along with performing various other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

• Be able to communicate written and verbally in English
• Be able to work all 3 shifts as needed
• Some heavy lifting required
• Able to work in both hot and cold temperatures
• Attention to detail a must.

Responsibilities
