The QA Technician is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, auditing, and assisting in QA and Sanitation efforts throughout the plant to ensure quality and food safety. This role involves completing laboratory support activities and SPS functions within a team-based structure. Key activities include analytical, microbiological, and organoleptic testing of ingredients and finished products to verify compliance with customer, regulatory, and SFI specifications. The technician will also perform environmental testing of process equipment and plant areas, conduct process audits, standardize incoming milk, and oversee sanitation/CIP processes. This position requires collaboration with leaders and partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety, understanding and executing standard operating procedures, performing PCP and CCP checks, and following reaction plans for deviations. The role also involves identifying and understanding customer requirements, assisting in assuring proper operation and product, and recording accurate data on quality reports.
